Bonjour à tous!
If you’ve been keeping your eye on the latest fashion trends, then you’ll definitely have seen a lot of embroidery around. I am absolutely in love with this trend, for several reasons. It is so feminine and pretty, yet at the same time be sewn into more traditionally non-feminine materials. It looks especially awesome when it is sewn into leather. The difference in materials and the way the black leather makes the patterns pop is amazing! I have picked out some of my favourite embroidery looks for you to have a look at. Warning: you may want to buy some of these beauties!
These dresses look super boho and are perfect for the summertime. They bring up dreams of whimsy and picnics among the trees. The more casual dresses are also pretty comfortable. The details on the formal dresses are absolutely stunning. The embroidery really brings something extra to the designs – I love them!
Oh my goodness – these shoes are totally beautiful! I would love to own a pair of any of these, honestly, but my favourite are the Mules. The flowers are embroidered in some of my favourite colour tones: reds, oranges and pinks. I would pair these with some light blue jeans and a simple black top to allow the shoes to really stand out.
Some of these blouses remind me of traditional Slavic outfits, such as those worn in Poland and Moravia. Of course, I find these really beautiful and I would love to have the opportunity to wear something like that. The embroidery goes really well with the off-the-shoulder trend as well. These are great for a casual look, but could also be paired with skirts for a more formal occasion.
The jackets showcase my love for a masculine/feminine blend in fashion. The denim and leather against the prettiness of the floral patterns are truly a sight to see. I’d wear a denim jacket with a cute skirt or dress underneath. The leather I would pair with either a pair of jeans or a more formal dress.
Last but not least – embroidered jeans! They are such an easy and understated way of adding a bit of this recent trend into your wardrobe. I am especially a fan of the red roses on the light denim, as it gives a beautiful contrast and catches the eye. I’d also like the contrast of black jeans with a light pink or orange set of roses. I would also pair these with a plain top to set off the details on the jeans.
I hope you’ve enjoyed having a look at some of the lovely embroidered pieces of clothing available. Let me know in the comments what you think about the recent trend! Do you like it as much as I do?
